Gosh, I freaking love origins. The amount of depth origins gives to so many Gibbs scenes is just beyond incredible. I'll admit as much as I loved tht they gave Gibbs a peaceful ending I didn't rlly understand or grasp how much meaning this had for Gibbs until this scene in origins.

Man, gibbs's ending felt so much more feel good with this scene. Fishing has such an impact on him, it's no wonder he finally felt at peace after 3 decades 🥹

We all need hobbies, things tht let us regulate our nervous system and mental health in a meaningful way and as someone who have struggled with mental health for so long I appreciate hobbies so much and this whole scene showed tht in such a way I can't even explain how much I adore this scene and origins and Gibbs🥹♥️
